ESTmep - Assembly - Insert feature available

ESTmep - Assembly - Insert feature available

In CAD, one has the ability to Insert a complete DWG into another DWG. We need to have this feature in ESTmep, perhaps it would be Insertmaj We could have complete bathroom groups, boilers, equipment, or other larger assemblies made in separate maj files, and then insert them into the current maj file we are working on, rotate them to the right orientation, & go from there. This would be HUGE!

You can "Batch" MAJ/EST's togeter but this sounds like a better solution. Would be nice if you had "views" of the data so the inserted MAJ's were grouped together so you could do things like assign a quantity....perhaps you have a prefab toilet room and you're inserting 50 of them, etc.

Have you tried creating a template in the design line?

Yes, we have used templates all the time. However, a template only allows for one service design line at a time...we need to have multiple services... Thank you for the idea though...
