Dimensioning Changes: Currently, there is no way to permanently delete dimensions within a drawing loaded in Fab Viewer. You can only Hide them, Undo them, and toggle the layer on/off. Fab Viewer does not carry any "delete" function at all. When spooling, Fab Viewer will automatically give you centerline dimensions. You cannot delete these dimensions. If they are to be deleted, they should stay CAMERA specific! (If you delete a dimension in one camera, they may still be needed within another). Would also really like to see the dimensioning functionality of the "Commands" Toolbar within CAMduct and ESTmep. See attached for description. It would be nice to toggle end size, length, item number, delete annotation, and custom text! Scripting Capabilities: You are able to run an automated script when spooling via CADmep, It would be nice if we could script within Fab Viewer. Can we get the "Right-Click > Execute Script" like we have in CAM / EST? Template Enhancements: Many piping companies using this software have not made the merge over to Fab Viewer yet. As you may already know, the organization and use of "templates" when spooling via Fab Viewer is one culprit. The following would make template use and organization much easier... Can we get a separate window within the viewer (similar to the camera window, where it lists all of the multiple cameras) which contains preset templates assigned by your .LTP file? Inside that window would include their preset templates ( Template #1, Template #2, etc) Template #1 may take use of 3 cameras, Template #2 may take use of 4 cameras. When spooling, they could decide which template (layout sheet) they would use for that particular spool. All they would have to do is go up and check which template they would like to use. See attached photo for a rough description. These improvements would be a great addition to Fab Viewer. Thanks, Nick
