Bottom of Duct/Pipe elevation on labels

Has anyone had any luck getting an elevation to show on a duct, pipe or hanger label for the field? Via scripting I can write an item's item.endlocation(1,"Btm") to a custom data field, but that does not take into account the section datum elevation. Any ideas?

Look into:

item.level("floor") 

item.level("soffit")

Whoops -- long day. This is what worked for me: item.customdata["your custom data"].value = item.endlocation(1,"Btm") - item.level("floor") Thanks again.
