Have the ability to view and/or model in Fusion 360 with the use of virtual reality gear. Many virtual reality systems exist and would offer a unique modeling, or model viewing, experience. Many VR headsets are designed to be tethered to a computer for the actual processing operations. This could allow for a full modeling experience to be brought into VR. Other headsets are designed to be standalone systems, like the Oculus series of VR headsets. Headsets like these have substantially less processing power than the tethered models but could still be used as a model viewer. Headsets can allow traditional peripheries to be used, such as keyboards and mice, but this would most likely mean the operator would need to be sitting down at a desk to use them, I think the great advantage of a full VR CAD experience would be to allow the user to be in the standing position, able to move around in the design space. Voice recognition could be used for calling out dimensions and part names, streamlining the design process and eliminating the need for typing. Both hands could be used simultaneously for selection and design instead of the one hand currently used in most CAD systems. Instead of hotkeys, voice or gesture control could active certain modes of the software, again, streamlining the experience. In the future CAD specific gloves could be made with haptic feedback, allowing the user to touch and feel the design in the hands, allowing for a sense of shape and scale to be attained very early in the design process (pre-rapid prototyping! So, pretty early in the design process haha).
