Ecotect and Windows 8

Are there any troubles with Ecotect Analysis running on Windows 8? Anyone installed it on a Win8 machine?

I'm thinking about updating from Win7 to Win8, but I need to get Ecotect installed.

Thank's a lot for your answers!

Hi Ralf,

I'm having the same issues with Ecotect and windows 8, the application runs unlicensed. I'm seriously thinking unistall windows 8 to install windows 7.

Bests.

Hello Enrique,

Any version of Ecotect runs perfectly on Windows 8.1, 64 bit. I have over 10 years of Ecotect versions on my PC running Windows 8.1 64 bit.

If your application is running unlicensed, it is due to a licensing issue, not Ecotect per se.

Have you re-installed the Autodesk License Manager?  what type of license were you using when using Windows 7?

Let me know if you have more questions on this topic, otherwise please accept as a solution so that others can benefit from this information.

Cheers,
