I am working on a design competition for Basel, Switzerland and was hoping to use EcoTect to analyze the environmental impact of my building. Unfortunately, there is no weather file for this city in the software's database or on the U.S. Department of Energy website. Does anyone have this file or know how to make your own weather file? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

To obtain weather data for your location, You can create a project in Green Building Studio (GBS) https://gbs.autodesk.com/ for your location.
For virtually all locations worldwide, GBS will have weather data within a 10km radius.
Once your GBS project is created, go to the weather station tab, where you can download the weather file in a .csv format.
This page will then give you information on how to convert the .csv file to a .wea file for use with Ecotect.
