Hi i was wondering if anybody would know how to do the wall peeling effect in maya, there seems to be some in 3ds max but none in maya. any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.s im fairly new to maya 🙂
I can think of several ways to do this. One would be to use the good old Non Linear Bend Deformer - you could use an animated vector displacement map. You could use ncloth with constraints. You could use bones and set driven keys. Please send a link to the part of the video you are referencing and I will try and help.
