While creating an explosion I noticed that the shards of an object were offset from the object they were supposed to be resting on. To give a little more information: I created a polygon cylinder and cut it apart into smaller polygon pieces, each piece I added a active rigid body each on a seperate layer, created a newton field, and a gravity field. Created a NURBs plane to act as the ground that the objects would fall on and placed a passive rigid body with a -1 layer. Everything works fine with the blowing apart but when they come to rest on the ground, they are offset. Meaning they are floating above. Anyone have an idea what might be going on and what setting I would need to tweek to fix this?
