The new glu feature only works on ridged sets, but the only way to bake these is with abcBulletExport, which has so many limitations that it is unusable in production?
It does not work with frozen transforms. The sim looks great when calculating, but the imported abc cache has crazy rtransforms.
It is standard practice to have frozen transforms on finished models???
If you make a load of cubes and translate the into positon and sim (using ridget set) and abc export, the imported result will be fine.
If you freeze transforms on the same cubes and set every thing up again, you will find the abc cache is just wrong.
I dont know how you could fracture a model and get it to work with sets?
Using single transform ridged bodies does not have a problem with alembic, or you can bake keys directly, but of course there is no glue feature unless you use the sets, but then you cant bake keys or abc correctly.
please advise as to a work around?
