How can I make a dipole from a pair of + and - Newton Fields?

I set up two Newton fields of attenuation=2 (inverse square) and equal magnitude, only one positive and one negative. I'm trying to create the classic dipole bar magnet field lines, but I can't seem to get it right.

I can fake it by playing with some of the other sliders but I need particles that don't 'coast' in the fields. They need to have no momentum of their own and their position needs to be fully under the control of the two Newton fields, not simply 'influenced' by the fields.

It is not a simple scene - magnetic, friction, iron powder attract each other.

I can give your this scene.
