Constraining/parenting/animating hair to match head animation...

Hi all,

Hopefully someone can help, I've been banging my head on this one.

I created a hair system using Thunderclouds GMH2 plugin.

I've setup a camera and am animating a simple turnaround of my model.  Camera is static, I've grouped my model and did a simple 360 degree turnaround of it.

All looks good in my viewport but when I do a render my hair system is not sitting on the model but off to the side.  (look at image below)

I've tried:

Grouping the hair system along with the model, key animating the hair system, the pfx hair, constrain parenting it to the head, oringal geo, new geo but no matter what I do when I render the scene the hair is not aligning to the model.

In my viewport the hair system looks like it is sitting on my model as it's suppose to!  It's only when I render that I can see the issue.  I'm using Mental Ray for rendering.

I've attached an image showing the problem.  Any tips, advice will be greatly appreciated.
