I don't think that is a regular option. (But maybe by inserting via custom
Tool Palettes? - seems like I saw a demo of that once)
At any rate, you CAN do this via some pretty simple AutoLISP customization -
(not in AutoCAD LT) though. Perhaps search the customization group for how
to do this.
Personally, I'd just set the most common visibility state to be the default
at the top of the list, and then modify it afterwards, unless it REALLY
created issues workflow-wise - then I'd go for some customization.
