Symetrical Array = no hair left!

I guess I just don't feel very smart today. I'm trying really hard to learn dynamic blocks but I can't seem to find any help except here. I've been pulling my hair out trying to get an array to self center between two points but I've had no luck. Sorry if this is a re-post to something previously solved. Please see the attached file and let me know if you can help. Thank you.

It's a 2007 file.

I don't know if it's possible to do what you're trying to do but you can
make a simple array and assign a move parameter to it so it can be adjusted
manually, not ideal but it'll work.

BTW, what software did you use - this has AEC content and I couldn't even
pick on something without my machine churning away for no apparent reason. I
had to use AECTOACAD to make a usuable file.

Also, there is some good info in these white papers:

Hmm, now I think something is up. I'm using straight-up AutoCAD 2007. I don't have any other software installed. I have no problems with opening and using the file so I am assuming something became corrupted in the upload. Explains the error message others have gotten. I will re-work the block and upload it again to see if anyone receives the same "errors". Thanks.

I'm using A2007 also, and had no difficulty opening the file you originally posted. I don't have the time right now to investigate your dynamic block issues, unfortunately.

I don't have 2007 yet but try this block, I think it may do what you are
asking.
