problems with stretch action for all visibility states

hi!

Please could you help me with mine very first dynamic block. Don't know why but the stretch action works only properly with one (first picked) visibility state (text and grip point move exactly where they should) . When I tried add that action for rest of visibility states text doesn't keep the right position and grip point is not any more where I pointed to be.

I will be very grateful for your advise!

thank you!

Welcome to the Forums

I've had a look at your block and it seems to work fine on my LT2012.

The only issue I found was that the symbol for the specific weld does not move. I've corrected that and attached your drawing.

many, many thanks!

now it works as I wanted. but still a little bit mystery for me...

was there any trick in moving welds symbols to right position? and that grip point. Now moves, but before was landing somewhere next to arrow.

how did you apply a stretch action to the rest of welds symbols?

Sorry for these basic questions, but I m looking for answers on forum and so far didn't find any relevant.

Newbie on forum...

Thank you for your welcome 🙂

The stretch action was already there in all visibility states.

All I did was modify it to add the relevant weld symbols to it, by right clicking on the that tiny little square with the little arrow, you bring up a dialog menu. You need to select ACTION SELECTION SET and then MODIFY SELECTION SET.

It will first ask for a strecth frame, just right click and select ENTER. Then it will ask you to select the objects you want to add to the selection set.

That is when you choose your weld symbols.

There was no trick to moving the grip point. It was working fine on my machine, but I am a bit confused as when you go in the block editor you can see two grips, but outside of the editor there is only one.
