Help me, lisp Data Extraction to excel

Hi,

I have a drawing (attach) with Dynamic Blocks and Attribute blocks. Please, write a lisp Data Extraction to Excel (2010).

Please, help me.

Thank you very much

I cannot write that since I do not know LISP.

you might want to check this out... i think it will do what your asking.  You'd have to buy it though.

We've used the ACA version, and it works quite well.

Well, there are several approaches to this. You can use AutoCAD's built-in Data Extraction to extract Dynamic block property names and values. These can also auto-populate a table within your drawing. Those tools are in AutoCAD already. Donny Gladfelter did a great presentation on this at AU 2012. If you are a member of AU, you can access the PDF of the step by step. I did experiment with it and was extracting data, but I had limiting factors that drove me to cobble together my own data extraction routine. It took awhile, and I went through many tests until I got what I needed for my unique situation.  I used some functions from Lee Mac along with some changes Ian Bryant helped me with in order to export to csv, which can easily be opened in Excel with each string filling a cell.

Before I spend an hour immersing myself in this, then another to get it working correctly for your particular situation, perhaps you could see if data extraction might be a perfectly fine solution for your particular situation?

If you have trouuble with the links, maybe I could send you the PDFs.

I would look at the problem more today, but I have a very full day with my work responsibilities and we are expecting more snow, which means shoveling tonight - so I'm pretty much out of time today.
