Footing Block - Attributes

I have created a concrete footing block that has multiple attributes on
multiple vis states. It seems the tags of the attributes are being mixed up
when the attribute editor is used. The properties dialog box shows them
fine. Weird? Anyone else had this. I also have a few lines showing up in a
vis state that are not really there. They only show up when you first insert
the drawing. after you manipulate the drawing they go away. Any thoughts?

I have had problems similar to this. My problems are usually caused by
using copy and paste. The block editor seems to behave oddly when you
use that feature.

Also check to make sure your attribute tags have completely different
names. I had problems on one block that were caused by the attribute tag
names being similar - but different - than another. Renaming them so
that they are COMPLETELY different fixed it.

Hope this helps some...

Thanks for the reply. As for the copy/paste function, yes, I've learned that
lesson the hard way before. I recreated this block from scratch, with the
same end result. Battman didn't help either.

Right now the block has 3 visual states. the first does not hav an
attribute. The second has 1 attribute. The third has 6 attributes and
doesn't include the attribute on the second visibility state. State 2 works
fine. The third state has the Attribute prompt that should not be visible is
showing for the wrong attribute tag. wierd. If i were to change the
attributes through vb or throught the properties dialog box they are all
fine. So my problem is having a block with multiple attributes on multiple
vis states.

Here is the block. I posted it earlier under another discussion as well.

The attributes all looked fine to me Wes. Can you explain your problem a little bit more.

I attached a picture that shows my third vis state. The problem is that the
attribute tags & prompts are mixed up. The Box1 should be Box1 but the
prompt shows the Rect ftg one that is not visible. Good luck.
