Field Value Equal to Largest Revision # in a Title BLock

Good afternoon,

I am trying to accomplish basically exactly what the title of this post says. I would like to have a callout that contains an attribute be able to look at our title block and return only the largest revision #. In other words I want for it to fill in with the most current revision #. I'm not sure if this is possible or if I'd need some type of LISP or something else?

Example #1: I would want the callout to fill in with "3".

REV #     DATE

1              8/31/14

2              9/2/14

3              9/9/14

Example #2: I would want the callout to fill in with "2".

REV #     DATE

1              1/1/13

2              2/5/14

Thanks in advance.

I don't know a way to do that.  You could perhaps use a diesel expression for a formula field and get it to do that based on custom sheet set properties, but IF you use a field in that manner, each of the fields will automatically update when an additional date is added.  I suspect that you do not want all of the prior revision callouts to update to the new number when an additional revision is added.
