Explode table, keep text wrapped (or alternative)

Hi!

In a drawing, I have a table with an Excel datalink. Ideally, I would want to detach the datalink, so that the drawing does not depend on the Excel file any longer. But I need to do this from a script (an .scr file). I haven´t found a way to detach a data link from script, so I opted for exploding the table. This would work (it almost does), but I ran into a problem: if the text in a cell is too long, then the text fails to wrap and overflows to the right of the cell.

More specifically:

If each word in the text is narrower than the columnm and the words are separated by spaces, then the text wraps fine, even after exploding the table. But if a single word is wider than the column it is in, then the word overflows instead of wrapping.

Does anybody know how I can break the link to the Excel file from script, and have the text wrap instead of overflow? (Whether the table remains a table or is exploded into lines is not important to me.)

Thank you!!

Leon.
