Dynamic block with stretch and Array

Is there a way to create a dynamicly stretch a block and an array creates a new set of diagonal once it reaches a given length?

Thats exactly it 

I am trying to break it apart and I can see the three diffect visibility states and stretch comands, but I am trouble with how you are relating the lookup paramater to the distance paramater.

I use visibility parameter and double lookup

in 1st lookup table I use intervals for linear parameter, when block must change from simple bracing to double an triple bracing

in 2nd lookup I put appropriate visibility states for linear parameter intervals
