My recent installation of Civil 3D with Land Desktop Companion put a lot of icons on my desktop. I needed to do some work in plain AutoCAD so I opened the one labled "Civil 3D as AutoCAD 2007", loaded all of my customizations, set up my workspace and went to work. Everything works the way I'd expect it to except the dynamic block editor. When I tried to add a parameter to an existing block I recieved the following error message: "Unable to execute the tool. Possible causes are: -the tool is not registered properly. Please check your installation. -the tool is from another application and is incompatible with the current application." Just out of curiosity, I opened "Autodesk Land Enabled Map" and tried the block editor and that one works fine. I guess I'm wondering which is the best thing to do: Customize Map and start using that instead? or trying to fix ACAD?
