Diesel Expression in MTEXT

Hi,

I am trying to add a list of External References to MTEXT. The diesel expression $(xrefs) works fine within RTEXT but when I enter it into MTEXT the result shows "$(XREFS)??

Is this possible to do this?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards

SM

I get the same thing in both mtext and rtext $(XREFS)??

It appears (xrefs) is a custom function defined in a lisp program. You may need to stick to built-in functions

It works fine for me using RTEXT. I'm using AutoCAD 2013 by the way.
