I have just started playing with dynamic blocks. I have a block that represents a part that is available in a number of standard lengths. Each length has a different part number. I have been able to use a linear parameter with a list of specific values to control a stretch action so that one block can be used for all lengths. Now I need to add a text (or attribute) label that gives the length of the part and an attribute that contains the appropriate part number. It seems like this should be done with a lookup table but I just cant figure out how to do it. I've read some posts that say an attribute value can be a field that can be pointed to a lookup table.
Anyone able to help me out?
