Burst of DB Issue

When I burst a DB, attributes that exist on a vis state that are not
currently in view become visible. A drawing is attached. Please run burst on
these block to see what I mean more clearly.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Since Burst is not an core AutoCAD command, I think you are going find no
joy.

Explode works, Burst doesn't. Why are you using Burst? What does it do that
explode doesn't?

i use burst all the time. it dumps the geometry into the block's resident layer, and converts the attributes into text...

When I traded out Explode for Burst on our customized right-click menus, everyone was very happy that it exploded blocks that way. But since it isn't a core command, it isn't supported and not neccessarily updated for new functionalities (visibility states).

Exactly. Which was why I stated "no joy".

Thanks for the replies.

The KEY to my question is:
"When I burst a DB, attributes that exist on a vis state that are NOT
currently in view become visible."

If your attributes are all on meant to be viewed, then you will never see my
problem.

Thanks for the help. I guess I will have to write a custom routine.
