2db adjustment with one selection

Hello,

Please see the dwg.
It's contains an example and my problem.

Also, when the grips of two DB's are on the same position,
I can, with as crossing, with one move adjust both, example C.

In example A and B it doesn't work.
You understand\, I need this "trick" for A or B.

Has anyone an Idea, please adjust then the dwg and publish again.

I need seperate DB's.

with regards,
Hugo

Do you want one DB to make the other DB do its thing?
In your example C you have the glass panel behind the sash and aligned with the selection of the sash. This is why your crossing selection will work on both. There's your "trick".

Hello Charles,

Thanks for your reply.

My intension is to do a crossing about both grips, in example
A or B and stretch both db's with one move.

C works, is not what I mean (glass in in wrong position), but discover this "trick" by
coincidant.

Tries myself to position the grip in example A from the
glass to the same position as the door. But unfortanetly this doesn't work.

Any idea how to solve this problem.

I've been fooling around with this for most of the morning and cannot for the life of me understand why the Hatches will not update with the stretches. Something simple that I am just not thinking of.
Normally when a hatch is applied to a DB you do not include the Hatch in the selection sets as the hatch is controlled by the boundary chosen. So when you change the boundary, as thru a Stretch, the hatch updates to the new boundary. This is not working here for me.
The TEST DB is where I've been playing with this. The VIS state would allow for one DB to be used but if I can't get it to work then what has been accomplished?
Somebody tell me what I'm missing, please!

Hai Charles,

Solve your problem.

Go into the blockeditor.
-remove your hatch
-draw a polyline = the border of your hatch
-select a hatch, use "ADD SELECT OBJECT"
choose the polyline
- add then polyline and hatch to the strech-width and strech-height selectionset
(double click on stretch-width for example, press esc, choose the polyline and te hatch, i do both)
- send hatch to the background

done.

see your example, its works now.
Sometimes the behavior is still strange.
Remove then your current block and insert again.

Do you have an solution for my first problem?

May I ask why you are using 2 blocks to create this "look"? If you gave a little bit more detail as to what you are trying to accomplish then maybe we could come up with an alternate solution for you to accomplish the same goal!

Yea but that's not how it's supposed to work. 😉
Do you need your glass panel and the frame to be two seperate DB's? If so I'm not sure you can get one to make the other move. Adding the glass panel as in the example would keep a constant fill as demonstrated.
I added the hatch to the Flip Action so it should not be strange now.
Vis State will not do it for you?
