VV Release 1.14 build 530 versus latest and greatest release???

I'm still using 1.14/530 because it was the last one I knew that
installed as a standalone (no browser). Also, because the later versions
all were MSIE only, no netscape. Obviously, I haven't been following
this NG, and amd wondering if the latest and greatest versions have
finally been completed and recognise browesrs other than MSIE, and if
the standalone instll has been put back?

Can anyone answer these questions please?

Thanks.

The Netscape Plug-in code was dropped when version 129 was replaced by it's
successor. That was about 500 builds ago (I think the latest build is
something like 627) and I don't think anyone has any plans to go back and
resuscitate that code --- ever. MSIE comes with the operating systems and
seems to browse files just fine. Supporting Netscape separately is twice as
much work for Autodesk. You can install the executable as a helper
application for Netscape Navigator.
