Hi i have just installed Trueview2011 from 2010. Did a complete uninstall, then drive/register cleaner before installing 2011.
However when i open drawings the ribbon bar (or any tool bar) does not load at startup, i have to manually go into the menu and select "show ribbon, command bar etc.." plus it does not save the UI layout when i close and open trueview again.
i have tried repair, uninstall etc.. with all drive/folders cleaned and registy cleaned. without success.
i do on the other hand, have full version of Autocad 2010 installed on same machine. ditto design review 2010.
Any help please?
Regards
Andrew
Hi,
I tried but could not reproduce this behaviour...
DWG TrueView saves these settings in the registry, maybe there is a permission issue...
What operating system are you running?
If it is Vista or Windows 7 - is the problem the same when you start DWG TrueView via right-click > Run as Administrator?

hi thanks for the reply
trueview2011 is set to default app on dwgs
it works ok if you open the program first, then go file open dwg
however if just double clicking on dwg file to open (without the trueview open) the ribbon won't show.
im on vista 32bit
i have kaspersky internet security 2011 (had tried installing with this disbaled)
Autocad 2010 is install

I have the same issue, is there not a fix yet. When I first rn the product after install the ribbon worked and I really liked the interface. After shutting down and re-opening the ribbon had dissapeared. It's a shame as the product is nice.
