The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)

I want to save people the time I wasted trying to fix this error after installing the 64-bit version of the latest download of TrueView 2013 on Windows 7 Ent 64-bit.

Download and run:

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) - vcredist_x86.exe

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64) - vcredist_x64.exe

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632

 

Fixed my problem instantly.

I have the 2012 version of redistribution, is that an issue?  I have the same problem
