I have one station in an office that only has Trueview 2014 (no other Autodesk application). The standard sybols used on the drawings (yes even the diameter symbol), will not show up correctly.
i believe that it is a font problem. But not sure how to correct. No Custom fpnts were used in the drawings. It works the same with an Inventor (2014) created DWG or Autocad DWG (new or old versions). This machine is a Windows XP.
Any Ideas?

Fixed it. Autocad installs it's on Fonts in the Windows FOnt Directory. I copied the Fonts from a computer that had Autocad to the troublesome computer and all is now well.
It appears to have been the AIGDT.ttf font specifically.

Thanks for following up and sharing the solution.
Yes the proper Font does need to be in the DTV Font file even though this is nothing more than a viewer.
The Folder can be found in Win 7 under: C;\Program Files\Autodesk\DWG TrueView XXXX\Fonts for Shape Type Fonts.
