File format on saving markup

Saving a markup from a dwg-file creates a dwf-file. Trying to save a copy only allows to save it as wmf- or dwf-file. Greig Jones answers a message from DaveC telling him that saving copy as dwg-file is not available, but saving copy as dxf-file may be possible. Please explain how! Thanx

In Volo View, Select File > Save Markup As. From the Save As window, select
dxf from the Save as Type drop down selection.

Volo View Express can only save as dwg (providing you have rights and access
to the original dwg file) or a wmf.

I have VVE 2000-129. It allows ONLY .dwf saves for markups.

As Jerry Runnels, I've got Autodesk Volo View Express 2000-129. Here, there's no command chain "Select File>Save Markup As...", only "select Tools>Markup>Save Markup As..." and one can ONLY select dwf format from the Save As Type drop down selection. If one choses "Save Copy As..." through right-click menu, one can select either dwf or wmf from the Save As Type drop down selection. I find no other file format (dxf included) for saving markups in VVE 2000-129. Can You comment if therre's aother Autodesk product, preferable to download free, with which one may save markups and mail them as files with format types other than dwf or wmf ?
My actual problem is: I recieve dwg files from foreign provider and got to comment and mail them to client, but client can´t view dwf- or wmf-files with his program, only dwg- and dxf-files.

The right-click menu allows saving to dwg.

The Tools > Markup > Save markup as: allows for saving a dwf. (An omission
from my previous post).

I thought that was only usefull if you included the original DWG with the
DWF, it's not that you're 'converting' the DWF (back) to DWG.
