Although the minimum system requirements of VVE 2 doesn't include Windows
95, I've performed the install on two of these systems successfully. A
regsvr.exe error at the end of the install appears, but VVE functions
normally.
The same isn't true for the Inventor 6 plug-in. The end of the install
produces a similar error message, and I'm unable to view Inventor files with
VVE. I read a post about installing the old Design Assistant first, but
that didn't help.
Does anyone have an idea about how to install the plug-in for VVE on a
Windows 95 system? Is there a .dll file I need to update? I have two
engineers who need to view Inventor files, but our IS department refuses to
upgrade their old Windows 95 systems.
