Any one successfully converted a 2010 version to 2007?
i installed dwgtrueview today
try to convert a dwg
it starts then just hangs forever
have to end process through taskmgr
then dwg file is not just wrong version - it's corrupted.

AutoCAD? SAVEAS command works just fine. You may need to fix the file first
using AutoCAD's AUDIT or RECOVER commands.

I assume you are running DWG TrueConvert that comes with Autodesk DWG
TrueView. As TrueConvert and TrueView use the same technology as AutoCAD
itself, it should work. Having said that, AutoCAD has more functionality
than its TrueConvert and TrueView cousins. You may wish to consult with
someone who has full AutoCAD to try the purge command in full AutoCAD before
trying to convert it with TrueConvert.
