DWG TrueView resets to be the default for opening DWG files

Every time I run DWG TrueView--which is ONLY for the purpose of translating AutoCad 2014/2105 files back to 2010 format--it resets my system so that DWG TrueView becomes the default for opening all DWG files. It is a multi-step process to reset this so that AutoCad is the default program. Does anyone know how to prevent DWG TrueView from doing this? It is aggravating to the point where I will likely remove DWG TrueView from my computer and ask our clients to do the transalting.

That is the way it works. DWG files get associated to the last EXE used to open them. I just shut all CAD apps down, open my desired one (in my case Civil 3D 2015) and that resets it back.

Try this, we had the same issue but wanted to force Trueview to open before a licensed product... http://designandmotion.net/autodesk/mfg-pages/inventor/autodesk-dwg-launcher-wigged-out-fix/
