No response required, this is for Autodesk Feedback.
The full version of AutoCAD recognizes shortcuts (LNK files) in the plotter support path and plot style support path and includes the files found in the folder specified by the shortcut(s). This is invaluable for us to support multiple offices and one-shot plot style tables.
However, DWG TrueView does not act the same way with regards to the shortcuts. This is not good since we have our DWG TrueView installations pointing to the same support folders as the full seats of AutoCAD.
Because DWG TrueView does not read the files located in the linked folders our DWG TrueView users cannot plot to other offices (those plotter's PC3 files are located in a linked folder) nor can they plot legacy drawings (those plot style CTB/STB files are located in a linked folder).
This is all the more puzzling since DWG TrueView is the AutoCAD engine.
