DWF6 is NTS in VV3

First, I plot a full size drawing to scale (from Layout: 30x42, 1=1,
Extents, & Center the Plot) using the DWF6 eplot PC3.
Then I open the DWF using Volo View 3.
When I measure the drawing it is BARELY off scale! I wont recommend my PM's
to review and measure shared DWF's.

Why is this happening??.... It should be to scale, right? I'd like to have
measurable DWFs - this would be a huge benifit!

Btw: The DWG, viewprort, etc are accurate. and if I open the DWG using VV3,
I can measure accuratly.

Can some one else repeat this and tell me if I'm just crazy?!? thanks.

Your PM does not have read access to your DWG files? Why are they reviewing
DWF files?

Wow man - you're all over the place. Actually, our estimating department
does take-offs using VV2 (for now). They'd get DWG's sent to them, or
they'd go open them within the Project Folders. Now that VV3 has the
ability to measure in a layout, over a scaled vport (in a DWG or DWF) I'd
like to simplify the process of getting them drawings to review. To have
the PM just email them a DWF is alot more appealing than sending them
drawings or directing them to a project folder, and perhaps, grab the wrong
file.

Having scalable DWF's could also open up the possibility of sharing accurate
scaleable "read-only" files with others, knowing the security of a DWF.
