Can't complete the installation due to a missing file

I've been trying to install TrueView but everytime I get this message:


The system cannot find the path specified.



I tried deleting the files and downloading it again several times but I'm getting the same result always. What can I do?

Three things:

A quick Google search of \dwgviewr\dwgviewr.msi:


there are other similar queries if you put \dwgviewr\dwgviewr.msi in the Google search box.


Autodesk Recommended Clean Install Procedure: (I suspect this will get you to Trueview Registry files as well.)



Assuming this program sees the remnants of the Truview install and can go after it (you may want to install Truview again until it crashes) use the most aggressive setting and let REVO clean out the registry.


Drill down to the suspect folder listed in the error and make sure it is gone as well.

Then try the install
