AutoCAD lt 2013 - CANNOT PASTE FROM CLIPBOARD INTO CERTAIN DRAWINGS

Hi,

My name is Oliver Elliott and I work at a yacht design firm.

We have been experiencing a problem when pasting from clip board into certain files/drawings.

So far I have tried downloading all hotfixes from Autodesk website.

The closest I've got to restoring the ability to paste from clipboard has been to convert the files using Trueview to earlier versions - however this only allowed me to paste from clipboard once and then nothing again.

This seems like a glitch has developed from possibly one original corrupted source file.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this problem?

P.s. If it helps to be more specific about how this corruption is working, often when we begin a brand new file using a standard autoCAD template like acadltiso, we tend to be able to paste from clipboard perhaps 10 or 20 times but ultimately at some point even this new file will end up corrupting and the paste function will stop working.
