How to break up a DWF6 !

Does anyone know of a way to (multi-file) file?

In other words, we have dwf6 files with several sheets for different
elevations...
We would like to break them apart or separate the elevations in different
files or groups (per elevations).

We don't have the original cad file.

We tried just printing the elevations we need by selecting the sheets that
need to be printed, but some of sets we need to print are very large (over
80 sheets) and the sheets are not consecutive, so it takes time to type the
specific sheet number we need to print.

It would make sense to be able to separate the sheets in different groups
(per each elevation or so) so its faster to print. at any time.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can print using a range of pages for example 2-10,15,25-31.

Or you can use winZip to break open the dwf. Open up the dwf file in winZip
and then pull out the W2D files. The only problem is that you will lose
scaling, background and other data.

Thanks for your prompt answer.

We tried printing using different range, but it takes too much time
inputting the specific sheets. (for example: there might be a set of 85
pages, and we need 1 ,4, 6-9, 13, 15, 19, ... and so on) we usually create
an XDS files with a document submit program (XEROX)(nothing else than a
program that saves lists of specific plot files we need to print at any
given time). And we are trying to do the same with these dwf6 we rec'd from
our client.

Now, I was able to expand the dwf using WinZip, and we have all the "w2d"
that were in that file.

I guess the next question is:
Do you know of any way we can batch print it and or create saved lists of
what we are printing so we can come back to print the same set of specific
sheets again?

Thanks
JB

Your best bet is to write your own.

Ben, Thanks for your time in this matter.

I don't now much about programming or compiling the codes in the DWFtoolkit.
Do you know of anyone that has created an app from the samples or any
business that would sell something similar?

I noticed a post from "Jeffrey Klug" about having an exe app for dwf to dwf6
in the costumer files group. but everytime I tried to install it, it gives
us an error... something about not being able to find a dll file. We tried
it several times w/o success. Someone asked Jeffrey about the same
installation problem, but I wasn't able to find his response. Your comments
please.
