DWF Print Wish List

Hello,
Is it possible in the near future to include a check box in the print dialog screen to allow the user to just print, "prints", Instead of print all which includes the models and the parts list. We are trying to make our models accessible to the shop but still need to print/issue fabrication details. The one thing standing in the way of not having multiple dwf files, one for just prints and the other being all inclusive, is not having the afore mentioned option. If the development team at Autodesk could include this option, sooner rather than later, it would be much appreciated and well used.

Thank you

Are you asking for a check box that will print just the 2D DWF pages? This
is a good idea. To do this today you need to know what pages are 2D and
specify them in the print range text box. For example, if the 2d pages of a
10 page DWF are 2,3,4 and 8. You could specify the range 1-3,8 or 2,3,4,8.
While your idea of a check box to print only the 2d pages is a better UI
design perhaps, using the print range can help you improve your process
today.

You hit the nail on the head. Printing just the sheets with 2D drawings on them with a simple check box would save alot of headaches. If nothing else, it would make my guys in our department more efficient. Is this the best place to have such an implementaion added or do I need to join AUGI? I have another suggestion. Make it so that the print screen defaults to "black and white" or atleast give the user explicit override to the current default. The later might be better.
