I've made a discovery regarding wipeouts and the Express Viewer. Maybe
you're already aware, maybe not, but here it is.
Dean Saadallah suggested a workaround where wou essentially replace the
wipeout with a solid or solid hatch and make the solid a color who is set to
print with 0% screening. I did this and it looked great on the screen, but
printed as black rectangles on my HP1055CM plotter. Not dissimilar to what
the wipeouts did.
I had a theory and set the color to print 1% screened. It worked great. I
can still see a few dots where the solid is, but it's acceptable.
So, in conclusion, when using wipeouts the dwf looks like black rectangles
and plots the same. When using solids at 0% screened the dwf looks great,
but plots black rectangles. When using solid at 1% screened the dwf looks
and plots the same, very slightly shaded.
