Whip OR Express Viewer

Hello Everyone,

I was doing some tests in using WHIP and VIEWER on an HTML page
and controlling it through javascript.

I feel Viewer API does not yet have the same level of functionality as the WHIP API.

Under theses circumstances my question is

Is it correct to call WHIP as dead?
and
Is it also correct to say Express Viewer is replacement for whip?

I hope my question is pertinent.

Dilip,

AEV sure does not have the same level of functionality as that of WHIP. But
it is going
to improve a lot in releases to come.

Secondly, AEV is never claimed to be equivalent of WHIP.

WHIP is dead ? for sure.
