are using Livelink (web base document management system) to store all types of
documents - office, project, as well as ".dwf" files.
The problem arrises when trying to view a document from within the Livelink
system. Like many dynamic web systems, it appends a host of parameters onto
the end of the URL to make it really long... When a user tries to view the
file, they get an error message that states "Error. Unsupported file Type"..
Cancel or Continue are the two choices.
The resulting URL looks like this...
I assume it's the fact that the URL ends in 852168 rather than ".dwf" that
it ~thinks~ the file is of the wrong type.
When downloaded from the Livelink server to the desktop, the file views
perfectly..
Thoughts on how we can get it to ignore the fact that it ~thinks~ the file
is of the wrong type?
