Relative path in <SRC=> format-

What's the correct format for relative pathname (i.e. all my .DWF's are gonna be on a CD)?

Used this in Fromt Page Editor:

and it works with the Preview function there, but fails with IE 5.5, no .DWF loads (blank page).

Tried renaming directory so no spaces, but didn't help.

Fully qualified path works OK, but is useless...

Checked back messages and answered my own question-Express' relative pathing appears to be BROKEN.

I cannot continue with my current project until this is fixed as all content will be read from a CD on someone else's computer.

How about some hope here? When's it gonna get fixed?

My guess is that a new Autodesk express Tool will
come out on March. Maybe they will prove me wrong and do something
sooner.

Relative paths are indeed fixed in the next release. Let not your hope be
lost.

I'm just a lowly developer.  We're not allowed
to speak of such things openly.  Subu probably knows... you can, of course,
bug him, but he'll likely be evasive and vague as well... release dates are such
a touchy thing in the software business.  Very sorry.
;-)

My guess is March. Maybe a February surprise will
come our way, but I am not holding my breath. April seems too distant given the
number of "little problems" people have requested solutions for.

Nuts.

Well, I could re-path the whole project and install it to his local C: drive, if his IT dept. doesn't have a coronary (it's for part of Arizona State University).

Kinda flushes the nifty autorun index that pops-up when you insert the CD though.

This is fixed in the next release. We will be
having a Beta of this soon, hopefully this week. Please check the autodesk ebeta
site for this later this week.

Here's the URL:

You will need to register for the eBeta
