The plot stamp is supposed to be there if you are using the
educational version of AutoCAD, or are using a file that at some
point went through an educational version of AutoCAD. Some where,
some how your drawing or a component being used went through such
an educational version, hence the stamp. It is deliberately built
into the educational program to stop it from being used in an
office environment.

Contact your Authorized dealer for a solution and fix. No one
here is allowed to post a solution. Also search the newsgroups
for past discussions of the stamp. Go to the search engine at
http://discussion.autodesk.com/, put in the key words educational
stamp and chose All as a search time.

AutoCAD 2004 does have a warning capability built in. Older
versions require Autodesk Reseller intervention.

A 3rd party solution is presently being offered at

Problem: I pasted a generic block into my drawing and now I can not remove the block OR the Educational ...message from the dwg.. I tried to copy paste the drawing (without the block) into a new drawing AND w-blocking just lines out. Did pasting the block, ruin my drawing?

Is this security feature installed by AutoCad 2004, Express Viewer or i-drop?

It's definitely not in Express Viewer.

This feature is not related to the Autodesk Express
Viewer. It has to do with the original DWG - not the resulting DWF file. When
Autodesk supplies an educational version to an institution, they do this with
the stipulation that the software will not be used for commercial purposes. In
turn, they provide the software at a reduced price. Normally the goal of the
company is to make more money... not LESS.
