Problems with AEV

We installed the Design Publishing Extension which included AEV on two systems here to test. When plotting a dwf file now, anyone who views a dwf from one of these two systems gets an "error" message stating the DWF is a newer version and may not open properly inside Volo View. Also, we post these DWFs to the web where outside vendors can view them using third party software. These new dwf files are un-viewable using that software.

Any body have any suggestions. I already uninstalled the extension on one system to get around the problem.

Thanks Neil

The new DWF6 is an updated version of the DWF that
came with AutoCAD 2002.  It's an upgrade and won't be fully compatible with
older viewers like VoloView, VoloView Express, and other 3rd party apps that
haven't updated thier code to reflect the new code for DWF6.  The Autodesk
Express Viewer is the one to use until the 3rd party apps upgrade, or Autodesk
releases a new VoloView.
