Problem with AxCExpressViewerControl on 64 bit machine

Hi,

I have a VB.Net windows application in which I have used AxCExpressViewerControl. Everything worked fine on 32 bit machine. But I face problem with 64 bit machine. When I use same application that works perfectly on 32 bit, it fails on 64 bit. I have added the AxCExpressViewerControl control at design time on my form. And when I try to run the application it is unable to the load the form also. I have faced this problem only with 64 bit and not on 32 bit. What could be the reason? Why it fails on 64 bit?

You don't say what version of vb.net you are using; I had the same problem
with vb.net 2008.

The resolution to the problem was to set the project's Properties -
Compile - Advanced Compile Options... - Target CPU: x86
