No more keyboard in IE after using Express Viewer

Every now and then Internet Explorer showing a page with an Express Viewer
embedded no longer responds to the keyboard anymore: I cannot type anything
in any form, I cannot even type in the adress bar anymore. Curious is that
the mouse is still working fine! Through favorites for example I can browse
to a completely different website (where I can't type anymore either).
If this happens I cannot close my Internet Explorer in any way (it beeps
when I try) and I have to kill it through taskmanager.

Anyone similar experiences and/or a solution?

On our website we have a small frame where people can select a drawing and a
large frame where the drawing is shown (through an tag) with the
ExpressViewer (v3.1.0.78). Internet Explorer is version 6.00. I have seen it
happen both on a Windows 2000 machine as well as on a Windows 98 machine.

Can you change the focus of the cursor by clicking in the form text boxes,
or clicking on the address bar? What is the URL of your website?

I do not know of any specific action that leads to the keyboard hanging, it just 'happens' to
me after some time.
I can change the focus of the cursor fine by using the mouse. If I copy some text in another
application I can even paste it (using the mouse) in the address bar and navigate to a
completely different website where I still cannot use the keyboard.

Details on where to find the website are being sent to your e-mail.
