I am a self taught Autodesk Architectural High School Student and I have a question. Does anyone know of another viewer that can be downloaded to view other files? I tried opening the project that I am working on but it is not a DWF so the viewer you can download here wont open it. Can anyone help?
So what exactly is Columbus. I went to the site but am confused as to what else i am getting if I download it. It will allow me to view a document without having the autodesk program on my home computer. Or do you need the program on the computer to be able to view the document?
It's a standalone app. When you install it, it works like explorer with a buil-in viewer. You don't need the 'native' applications installed for it to work.
