The problem is one of reproducibility.
After several months, we have not been able to reproduce it in house. If
any AEV users have found the magic juju which corrects this problem, or any
other clues to help solve it, we could proceed further.

working for me.
When I look for the cause of this error
message, I see MPR.dll, Multiple Provider Router DLL, a DLL from Microsoft, that
is the culprit. My version of this DLL is 5.1.2600.0. Many of my other system
DLLs are 5.1.2600.1106. Based on that 1106 number and my version info for IE 6,
these probably came with IE 6.0. Why IE 6.0 does not have a new MPR.DLL is
beyond me. Does anyone know what product could be installed to upgrade MPR.DLL
to a newer version. That is the trick here. There is nothing wrong with AEV. We
just need a way to upgrade the underlying system, so that all of the necessary
components are present.

what do you mean by "walk the dll"? I'll do whatever I can to help AD get this
problem resolved. Out of 100 or so workstations I have a total of 7 systems
with this problem. Out of those 7 I have 4 NT, 2 2K and 1 XP. Scott, if AEV is
dependent of this particular version of MPR.DLL shouldn't it be included with
the install or at least noted?
