How long is a drwan line?

I tried it in January but until now I got no response. So this is what I mean:

If there is a floorplan with rooms and so on I would like to get the length and the width of every room and maybe the height if it is possible to put it into the AutoCAD source.

Are there any functions to get those informations out of a DWF?

Is there a way to get the measures (is this the right word?) from the selected object? I mean, may I use any function -which one - to get the length and width of a selected polygon? And are those measures calculated out of the drawn plan or must I fill these attributes in a dialogue? What attributes am I able to get out of a DWF file? Thank you!
