dwg support

How come the newer versions of Volo View & Express viewer dont support dwg file format. Updates generally have more features than the previous...not LESS.

If you are trying to view R2004 format DWG files

you will need to purchase VoloView 3, available for a

short time for $49. Express Viewer is ONLY a DWF viewer.

From AutoCad R2004 and R2004 based products you would have

to save the DWG file back to R2000 format to use VoloView 2

or VoloView Express 2.01 or 2.0. Of course this would defeat

the big advantage of the smaller file size of R2004 DWG files.

Express Viewer isn't an update, it's a new product. Volo View Express
is being discontinued and if you need redline/DWG support, it's
recommended that you upgrade to Volo View which for as limited time, is
available for $49 per seat.
